Work Process
Design and development of various leather outwear collections for a fast fashion retailer, targeting Asian market. Design process from trend research, range planning, material and color concept, over technical drawing to supplier briefing. Proto sample development and garment finalization until pre-production stage.
With a strong focus on core essentials, the selection of styles features key signature shapes and commercially successful items suitable for the target market. High quality lamb nappa leather is used for classic feminine styles, upgraded by novelty details as braiding, tassels, rib inserts, metal trims, custom designed zip pullers and geometric cutlines. Suedes in sophisticated earthy mid-tones create softer, more feminine looks, providing a price point balanced assortment.
